Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: libapache2-mod-defensible

Ubuntu 7.10
Package: libapache2-mod-defensible        Version: 1.3-1

Once this module is activated apache no longer serves php pages and
instead users are offered to download the page. It seems that this is a
result of this module's failure. In the error.log the following is
displayed:

apache2: udns_resolver.c:477: dns_free: Assertion `ctx != ((void *)0) && ctx !=
&dns_defctx' failed.
[Wed Jul 16 20:09:31 2008] [notice] child pid 3060 exit signal Aborted (6)

I found a similar bug report on Debian that said that this problem was
fixed in newer release of this package so I installed the version of
mod_defensible from Ubuntu 8.04 and this solved the problem.

Could you please port the new version (1.4-2) to 7.10 so other will not
have to go through this steps?
