this problem affects KDEPIM 3.x and is know upstream and has been discussed many many times on kdepim-users ML.
Until now, it has not been possible to determine exactly what causes the corruption of the indexes, but it may be related to simultaneous access (by filters, antispam, etc). With KDEPIM 4.1 the indexes are now auto-regenerated to prevent this, and a new toolbar icon allows the user to force the recreation of the index in case the users suspects corruption. -- [Data Loss] KMail mysteriously changes messages to "No Subject", "Unknown" sender https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/50039 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
