Binary package hint: gnome-panel
The categories presented by the Custom Menu applet "Applications,
Places, System" should have an option to automatically arrange
themselves differently or allow so in the Menu Editor. For example, when
in vertical orientation, it makes more sense to place Applications and
the icon at the top, Places under it and System under that following the
flow of the horizontal placement (more common to less commonly used).
