Try to remove the line >>Option "UseFBDev" "true"<< from
your /etc/X11/xorg.conf and check it again after a restart.
If it doesn't work please attach the /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old the next start
after a uspslash boot. and your /etc/X11/xorg.conf.
