So, make sure you have installed the package, then switched to the Romanian 
locale (can be done by running in a terminal 
export LANG="ro_RO.UTF-8"
export LANGUAGE="ro_RO:ro" 
gedit

You should see the Romanian translation for it, if everything is ok (ex: 
instead of Open you should see Deschide). 
Click on the Open button, then navigate into a non-bookmarked folder.
This should be the point where the application crashes.

Can you run the test on an x64 system (I do also run ubuntu on a x32
laptop and I wasn't able to see the crash, it may be because x32 libs
are "forgiving" wrong number of arguments for printf functions)
