** Description changed: Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.24 I upgraded from gutsy to hardy. ABIT AN-M2 motherboard. Sound was working perfectly fine in gutsy - no issues whatsoever. In hardy, sound is working when I start/restart. However, sound does not work after I resume from hibernate. Two experiments tried: 1. After resuming from hibernate, I logged out and opened another virtual terminal (Alt+F1) and did 'rmmod snd_hda_intel' and 'modprobe snd_hda_intel. Logging in now results in sound working properly. 2. Adding 'snd_hda_intel' in MODULES in /etc/default/acpi-support does not help at all + + $uname -a: + Linux ubuntu 2.6.24-19-generic #1 SMP Fri Jul 11 21:01:46 UTC 2008 x86_64 GNU/Linux -- lost sound after resume from hibernate https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/249714 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
