step 1. Please cd into ~/.mozilla/firefox/*.default
step 2. rm extensions.*
step 3. restart firefox
step 4. comment on this bug if it didnt work and please explain why it didnt
work.
also comment if it worked. there is another dir. to remove but i
would
like to see if this works first.
step 5. If it leaves you with no extenions please install one by one than remove
them one by one to see what one is causing issues.
HOTE: there are ways of screwing firefox up if you dont follow the above
exactly as typed. This will only work on extensions seeing as plugins
are housed somewhere else but to remove plugins you can "sudo apt-get
remove --purge nameofplugin" replace nameofplugin with the package
name.
