Public bug reported:

Hello everybody,

I am running Ubuntu 8.04.1 on an IBM T40 laptop.
When booting the laptop with the the generic 2.6.24-19 kernel (current version)
the boot process stops at about 12% (according to the waitbar).
I have a hunch that the stop occurs right before the laptop's internal WLAN
device is activated. The WLAN device on my laptop is a Cisco Aironet Wireless
802.11b.

When manually choosing the 2.6.22-14 generic kernel the boot process
works just fine. The WLAN device is then activated properly during boot
process.

I am sure you will need additional information from my laptop concerning
this reoport. Please let me know how to retrieve it from my laptop.

Kind regards, Tobias
