I'm afraid we cannot further investigate this bug without log files from
the installer. Can you please run the installer again and attach
/var/log/syslog and /var/log/partman to the bug report, following the
instructions at http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingUbiquity/AttachingLogs ?
