Nobody answered... :-(
Well, here's something that I've discovered so far.
If I disable the autostart in Nautilus (Edit - Preferences - Media), whenever I
insert a cd/dvd, my pc won't reboot.

If I do a:
sudo tail -f /var/log/messages

and I try to mount the cd-rom this is what I get:

Jul 21 20:28:03 athlon64 kernel: [ 4706.507491] printk: 37 messages suppressed.
Jul 21 20:28:03 athlon64 kernel: [ 4706.522032] sr 5:0:0:0: [sr0] Result:

Jul 21 20:28:03 athlon64 kernel: [ 4706.522036] sr 5:0:0:0: [sr0] Sense Key :

Jul 21 20:28:03 athlon64 kernel: [ 4706.522044] end_request: I/O error, dev

Any ideas?
