Steve,

The fix as far as being able to go into the Tools->Options->Java and
select the new JRE you want to use is in both hardy and intrepid. Before
the fix went in (afaict) it would not let you change it for some reason.
However, it will still complain that your JRE isn't there if you were
using one that is no longer there, but that really isn't a bug.

So yes this bug should be fixed afaik.
