Public bug reported:
Intrepid CD Live from CD Image 20080722. Install from boot window or
from desktop brings up blank window labeled Install and then crashes.
Ubuntu recovers to desktop which runs O.K.
This is an older dual boot test system 1.2 gHz Celeron 640 mb which has
Alternate install of Xubuntu Intrepid Alpha 2 and Alternate install of
Ubuntu Intrepid Alpha 2 both run O.K. and updated. I'm entering this
bug from the 20080722 CD Live.
Ubuntu Weekly #99 says CD Live install should be working for Alpha 3 on
20080724. With rsync I haven't seen much change from day to day and
with the freeze perhaps most of the code is in already?
I poked around and found a few files which may help, to be attached in
subsequent posts.
