Public bug reported:
System lockups while browsing an OpenOffice document, screen gets either
gargled output all over or nothing just happens. System stayed
responsive with cazy graphics so I could reboot my machine (HP Compaq
8710w with Nvidia Quadro FX1600M). Second time this happened (about 3
mins after the first incident) I had to power-off. Attached relevant
bits of kern.log
