It was actually the first time that I was sending such a big file over
pidgin. I have absolutely no idea if its a new or old problem. All that
I know is that I'm running the latest package.
Maybe I didn't understand what you meant but I don't see the point of
trying another receiver since that's the receiver end of pidgin that is
broken.
Here's the description of my system:
lsb_release -d =
Description: Ubuntu 8.04.1
apt-cache policy pidgin =
pidgin:
Installed: 1:2.4.3-0ubuntu1~hardy1
Candidate: 1:2.4.3-0ubuntu1~hardy1
The good news is that this bug does not impact the actual transfer of
the file since the file actually get fully received by the receiver.
It's only a minor display issue. Md5sum of the original file and
receiver file are a match.
