I have a Gutsy server running 2.6.22-15-server kernel. 32 bit install, 8
GB of RAM. The problem is that after a little more than a day it locks
up. Investigation showed oom-killer messages prior to lockup.

On kerneltrap, I was explained that the system ran out of "lowmem" for
some reason, even though I had plenty of highmem.

I started tracking lowmem use by doing grep ^Low /proc/meminfo and it
shows gradual decline over the day:

This is a really bad issue and I want to resolve it. Right now I reboot
nightly, but feel like I am looking into the abyss all the time, very
unpleasant.

Our co started converting their apps to Linux and I do not want to have
a embarrassing experience.
