Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: openoffice.org
OpenOffice Impress 2.4.1 in Hardy loses images.
I noticed that about one images per day disappears from my presentation in odp.
There are about 50 images embedded into the presentation - half of them png,
the other half jpeg.
The presentation was open for several days while my laptop was suspended to RAM
several times a day.
When an image disappears, a frame and image symbol remains.
I also noticed, that these images also disappear from the .odp file.
Other images got corrupted over time. For example one showed horizontal red
stripes.
When examining the .odp file I found the same corruption in the embedded image.
The order in which the images disappear seems to be random.
I haven't found any correlation with the import date, nor size or type of the
image.
