Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.24-20-generic
linux-image-2.6.24-20-generic (version 2.6.24-20.37) hangs on boot after
the line "Checking 'hlt' instruction... OK." Adding 'acpi=off' to the
kernel command line makes no difference. linux-image-2.6.24-19-generic
(version 2.6.24-19.36) works fine.
