I have the same problem. Just installed on Inspiron 8000. The screen display is split in three overlappint "columns"--like three screens of the same thing (1/3 of a screen) overlapping each other. There must be a solution... but no one has posted anything. I'm a newbie to UBUNTU, although I'm familiar with HP-UX. I would imagine a driver would solve the problem; please do explain how to install, if there is such. Thanks, Vlad
