I've sold the pc with that board some time ago. But I've seen an BIOS update on http://www.abit.com.tw/<http://www.abit.com.tw/page/de/download/download_bios_detail.php?pFILE_TYPE=Bios&pMAIN_TYPE=Motherboard&pTITLE_ON_SCREEN=AN9+32X&pSOCKET_TYPE=Socket%20AM2>that makes "Ubuntu Linux 32/64bit work correct". I think that one does the trick. So it was their fault ;)
