Wow !! it seems that something is moving on this BUG or maybe it will need to move on.
My experience si a singular one : Samsung Q45 with the Intel 4965 wi-fi chip, the chip gets detect only when I plug an external USRobotics key. Then the wireless network manager strat working detecting the "Unknown Vendor specific interface " which detects all the SSL and below here it comes the "Intel corporation Pro/wireless 4965 AG or AGN network connection" detecting NOTHING not even the 100% quality signal perfectly detected by the USR(Unknown vendor ). Why does the network manager needs a SHAKE to recognise the intel 4965 ? Hope the increasing number of complainer would give the Ubuntu people a push on this, particularly when Ubuntu has been said should be the best Linux for LAPTOPs. Thank you for your consideration on this matter.
