Sorry for the very late response. Were you trying to use an XFS root
partition, by any chance? The partitioner warns you about this now, as
we're unable to support it.
I'd appreciate it if you could retry with Kubuntu 8.04 (or Kubuntu
6.06.1 if you still need to use the 6.06 series for whatever reason).
