Regardless if a language uses dots or commas, dates should only appear
as dates if the cell is formated as "date".

This is because often international documents are english-formated. I
can simply not use them because in german, which my computer is set to,
we use commas and dots are immediately considered as date separator.

This is a very serious bug with high priority! For most of my needs (and
I think many others, too) interaction with international spread-sheet
data is simply impossible...
