Here is the information you requested.
Please note: The results in alsa-info.txt are misleading, because I have
already fixed this problem on my system. Specifically lines #69 and #73
contain "snd_usb_audio", whereas before I fixed the file
/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base these two lines would have contained "snd-usb-
audio"
Sorry, I never read the "Reporting Sound Bugs" section of
DebuggingSoundProblems, because as soon as I found the miss-constructed
module names I considered this a linux configuration bug and not a sound
bug.
