Thanks for your bugreport and this additional infomration. Does that mean that now your system works correct even without the workaround with the http proxy? In this case, we should probably close this bugreport also I'm a bit puzzled what might have caused it. If you can reproduce it again, I would be interessted in the output of: "sudo apt-get update -o Debug::acquire::http=true"
