Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.24
This is a bit of a strange bug because it only happens on random
occasions, i.e. sometimes ( like now ) i can log into my computer
without any trouble and use the internet.
I'm running Kubuntu 8.04 with 'uname -r' giving 2.6.24-19-generic.
The problem is that the computer hangs, it seems to happen just after
kdm has started giving me about 2~3 seconds to type in my password and
login before the keyboard becomes unresponsive. I only managed to get in
there yesterday and used the mouse with the virtual keyboard to open a
konsole and type dmesg, the output is attached.
I posted a comment on bug 65631 but i was suggested to create a new bug. As i
have learned the skge.c file is to do with gigabit ethernet this is the output
