This bug has been fixed with gvfs 0.99.3-0ubuntu1 in Intrepid. If you (or anyone) can reproduce the error in this version or later, then please reopen the bug. If you need a fix for the bug in previous versions of Ubuntu, please do steps 1 and 2 of the SRU Procedure [1] to bring the need to a developer's attention.
