Public bug reported:
purchased dell inspiron 530 on 6-13 from dell,worked ok until
7-16.started computer normally print was enlarged,shut down system and
tried to start again.computer will not boot from hard drive,will
sometimes boot from cd ubuntu 7.10 which dell loaded.ran diagnostics
error codes 1100:012a,1100:0022a,1100:032a,1100:042a,1b63:0f1b and
1b63:151b are indicated.computer does not indicate defects in cd.dell
states this is a software issue and they have been no help in resolving
issue.in addition computer when shutting down makes shrieking noise and
screen goes haywire.do not know if this is a bug in software or if
hardware or a combo of both is to blame.
