This bug just happened to me too in a fresh installment of kde 4.1 final
but is not only with video-files but with any large file too (it happens with
.iso image too and other large files) and it not crash immediately but it hangs
for 1 minute or so but if i do the same thing some more times it will
eventually crash.
I agree with kmartinsson, the problem is the Information panel,
when i'd close this panel Dolphin works well.
Too bad they didn't fix this in the RC1.
