Whenever I logout or reboot all desktop effects become disabled, I
always have to go to System --> Preferences --> Appearance --> Visual
Effects and choose Normal to get them back. Please tell me if there is
any additional information I should supply, for now all I can come up
with is this:
Graphics card: 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RV350 AS
[Radeon 9550]
Driver: "ati"
Ubuntu version: Intrepid with all updates.
Compiz version: Installed: 1:0.7.7+git20080630-0ubuntu2, Candidate:
1:0.7.7+git20080630-0ubuntu2
