Binary package hint: libmysql-java
There is a known issue in the MySQL JDBC connector version 5.1.5 that
causes NullPointerExceptions when using an XA Datasource with wrapped
SQL. Anyone trying to use JBoss-4.2.2 with a MySQL XA datasource (this
does not affect local data sources) with the MySQL JDBC connecter that
ships with the default 8.0.4 release can see this problem.
This issue has been fixed in MySQL JDBC Connector 5.1.6. It would be
great if the libmysql-java package could be upgraded to install this
newer version.
The workaround is to manually install the 5.1.6 MySQL JDBC Connector.
