Hi Patrick, thanks for using Ubuntu and thanks for your bug report! I am not quite sure where you are getting your timeline and the 22 months age, can you explain? On the page that you linked there are no dates, and http://changelogs.ubuntu.com/changelogs/pool/universe/p/pvpgn/pvpgn_1.8.1-1/changelog shows that the package was updated Sept 30th, 2007, or about 10 months ago.
