I have not made any modification by myself, but via update-manager up to the point where the problem arised. Further to that, yes, I have tried to fix the problem. Up to now, I can access the display, but only via the secure-access via gnome. The normal access via gnome leads me to a white display, so I have to break-up thtrough CTRL-ALT Backspace and login again. I have searched in the forums, but get additional errors, which I have post in the bugzilla forum from ATI/MSI, without success.
