Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: totem

Sorry if the information I provide is not complete but I am new to this
stuff. You are welcome to ask more questions if required.

When a movie is played in Totem with G Stream the red colour hue
vanishes. After this ANY movies that are played in ANY movie player
display lacking the red hue. The only fix I have found is to reboot and
then the movies are OK. This affects ALL mavie players after the problem
first appears, including VLC and all Totem versions, xine, etc.

The type of movie that causes the issue is an MPG using the "MPEG-2
video" Codec. Other MPG movies seem to be OK.

The Ubuntu version is 8.04. The Totem version is 2.22.1
