If an old script tries to run /usr/bin/X11/soffice it will fail: dagger ~ $ /usr/bin/X11/soffice cd: 158: can't cd to ../lib/openoffice/program /usr/bin/X11/soffice: 347: /usr/bin/X11/pagein: not found /usr/bin/X11/soffice: 363: /usr/bin/X11/soffice.bin: not found dagger ~ $
That doesn't seem to have anything to do with gdm. It seems to be a problem with the X11 compatibility link and its interaction with openoffice. -- Do not add /usr/bin/X11 to path, causes problems with relative symlinked binaries https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/250372 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
