Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

When copying files with nautilus to a NTFS volume, the file timestamps
are lost. (I "think" that CP -a behaves the same)

Both "last modification date" and "last access date" are set to the
current (copy) date / timestamp.

The file "last modification date" should be kept, as the file has not
been modified.

I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 desktop with all updates as of July 31, 2008.

** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
