Binary package hint: ldm
When the user has entered the password and has pressed enter, the dots
in the password field disappear, but the field itself remains enabled.
The message "Checking password" (or something to that effect) appears
below the password field, but the password field itself should be
disabled so the user is not prompted to input anything.
This is on Ubuntu Hardy.
