Proper suspend with 8.04 in a Thinkpad T60p with ATI FireGL 5250. Takes about 7 seconds until the hard drive stops spinning and the moon light stops blinking.
Resume is another story; takes about 10 seconds if one control+alt+F7 to go to Xorg (otherwise up to 30 or more seconds!) -- but the moon light keeps blinking for a while in any case. I suspect the network doesn't come up properly -- in many occasions I have to kill the NetworkManager and the NetworkManagerDispatcher, and then restart NetworkManager or directly sudo ifup eth0 or ath0. -- hibernate (suspend-to-disk) is very slow https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/185703 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
