Public bug reported:

wl restricted driver disconnects and reconnects every so often. In
ifconfig, it's listed as eth1 and UP, yet Network Manager shows it being
down. Connection is not actually down, just appears to be. Functions
just fine as it everything were normal, yet all others show it being
down. ifconfig also shows the Link encap as being Ethernet, instead of
wifi or wlan. This is happening on a bcm4328, which is understood to be
newly supported over ndiswrapper.
