Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kdebase-plasma

Under Kubuntu Intrepid on a eeepc 901, the KDE4 system tray does not
display correctly on first login

My session autologins to a locked desktop. After entering my password, I
get a functional desktop with all applets displayed correctly, except
the system tray. I then unlock widgets, right click on the space in the
panel where the tray should be, and remove it. I then add the system
tray back in. This one then displays correctly.

However, if I go into the panel configuration "thing" - since it isn't
really a dialog, the one that lets you resize and move the panel... -
then it vanishes again, only to reappear when the configuration "thing"
is closed.

** Affects: kdebase (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
