Binary package hint: xorg

I have two System to try this, in both have Ubuntu Hardy Heron with 
xfce-desktop and plug  my Samsung Syncmaster 551v, in a system A):
Ati Radeon 7000/VE with 551v:
The new Xorg feature of auto-configuration  enabled a video mode unsupported 
for this screen: 1152 x 864 60hz (xfce Display) Not more problem.

In system B):
S3 ProsavageDDR-K with 551v: 
I have a great problem, my screen report: "out of sincr" in every restart Xorg 
can scan the correct sync,  but  enabled a unsuported video mode: 1024 x 768 
87hz. This forced to use  800 x 600, but do not have 1024 x 768 60 hz(This bug 
is very similar a the report: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/212510

The Max. capacity of my 551v is 1024 x 768 60hz (47.8 khz 59hz NP)

How do you know dpkg-reconfigure xserver not useful in Xorg 7.3, please
fix this bug.
