Public bug reported:
Whenever I go to open up Pidgin, the window pops up for a couple of
seconds and then closes. No icon in the system tray, nothing. It just
pops up, then closes. I tried completely uninstalling, then
reinstalling, but no dice. Can anyone help? I'll try to provide whatever
information it is you need, but since Apport doesn't open up, I'm not
sure how much technical info I can give you. However, I'll try my best.
