Thank you for your feedback. Would you mind trying to run without the
linux-backports-modules package installed (unless of course you rely on
it for any particular driver)? Make sure that you have the linux-ubuntu-
modules-2.6.24-19-generic package installed so that you still have
drivers for your wireless.
