I discover my this issue was related to a working suggested workaround of this
bug

Removing from /etc/X11/xorg.conf the (workaround) added Inputdevice
lines from "ServerLayout" section
Section "ServerLayout"
Identifier "Default Layout"
Screen "Default Screen"
Inputdevice "Generic Keyboard"
Inputdevice "Configured Mouse"
EndSection
Section "ServerLayout"
Identifier "Default Layout"
Screen "Default Screen"
EndSection
Make this issue disappear.
