Public bug reported:
Ubuntu hardy comes with python-pygame 1.7.1. I tried to install pygame
1.8.1 from source, after installing a few dependencies (like
libsdl1.2-dev) for the program to compile, I installed pygame (python
setup.py install) without errors.
Then I try to import pygame and get the following:
>>> import pygame
Fatal Python error: (pygame parachute) Segmentation Fault
Aborted
I guess this is Ubuntu specific so I report it here.
