The way I understood the problem, it happens when both 'half' of the CPU
try to read an installation CD (with Squash filesystem) simultaneously.
There is a question of luck here.

If you don't upgrade to edgy, it would be possible for it to happen
again when you install packages from the CD.

I don't fully understand the bug, previous comment is just my own
understanding.
