You are currently running an in development version of Ubuntu. The work
you are seeing is neither complete nor intended for release.

In short, don't worry about it. And no, the theme isn't being reverted;
if we reverted to the original whenever the work in progress started
looking ugly, Ubuntu would still be Warty with more warts.

Rest assured, it will probably change. At risk of making a completely
off topic comment thread, the current theme is intended to generate bug
reports for dark themes on GNOME - a noble task which has so far had
great results.

As for the Log Out dialog, that is of course not a theming issue. It has
been noted, and will indeed probably be reverted. (Even though I, for
one, would prefer splitting System -> Quit into a few different
dialogs).

Anyhow, this is not a bug. For discussion of these kinds of issues, I suggest
you use the mailing lists for the relevant teams. For example, the Art team has
a page on Launchpad and a mailing list mentioned at http://lists.ubuntu.com

Thanks, though. I can see you want Ubuntu to be the best it can be! Keep
it up :)
