$ pulseaudio -k
and received the following error message:
W: ltdl-bind-now.c: Failed to find original dlopen loader.
E: main.c: Failed to kill daemon.
(that is verbatim)
I killed all audio programs, (except the panel volume manager, do I need to
kill that?)
If you don't know what I'm talking about, I was referred by you from bug
