have you rechecked using the latest opnejdk available in hardy-proposed
(or maybe backports). it is
java version "1.6.0_0"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_0-b11)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 1.6.0_0-b11, mixed mode)
and
GCJ Web Browser Plugin (using IcedTea) 1.0
Dateiname: gcjwebplugin.so
The GCJ Web Browser Plugin (using IcedTea) executes Java applets.
with this i get at least one of my two critical applets running on AMD64
version.
