I've successfully find how to download album using "Download Album" link
It's pretty simple. Just go in Firefox to Edit -> Preferences ->
Applications tab -> type in bar "picasa" then under "activity" change
from default picasa to "use another application" and go to path
/opt/picasa/bin/picasa (simply double click on picasa)
Now you can simply download album from firefox without any "hacks"
Tested using Firefox 3.0.1 and Picasa 2.7.0 (Build 37.3615,0) & Ubuntu
