I have just done a fresh install of 8.04 and to play video from
http://edition.cnn.com I only needed to install 'flashplugin-nonfree'
and restart the browser.
Could you run the following command and paste the output to indicate
which is the default flash plugin.
sudo update-alternatives --display xulrunner-addons-flashplugin
